How diverse are the kinds of messages we send each other! What fascinating information they contain! And how heartwarming it is to read and re-read them! Once upon a time, I would never have less than seventy of these in my inbox... and then, I deleted them all. I never saved those arbit forwards anyway, so you can imagine how many Real messages I managed to hoard, especially if on an average, I'd have to delete about seven or eight messages a day, because, after all, the phone hasn't got unlimited memory!
Then came a day, when I couldn't take it anymore. I deleted all but a few.. and I mean really few.. three or four.. These were messages which for some or the other reason, I just could not bring myself to delete (ah, my soft, soft heart!).
For the rest of the un-deletables, I just created a new folder!! Hehehehe... so smart, I can be! [But anyhow, that folder is special and out of discussion. ]
Gradually, my Inbox started collecting new messages, though I always managed to keep it to between fifteen and twenty at any given time. This strict resolve to have no more than that number actually made me realize what is important to me at a time, and how that changes, and becomes redundant, sometimes over the short span of a day or two.
This morning I was emptying my inbox(having been too tired to do so last night), when I came across some of those I'd still saved, and decided that they were rather precious, and should be shared!

hehehehehehe....oh my god! yeah it is a riot!(though right now i will not use that word due to reasons like exams where i keep coming across this word and it gives me the creeps to use it in normal day-to-day life!)
oh and na i just thought of a song that i wanted to sing for prerna regarding our habits of writing long comments but i won't cause it is very corny and na mujhe sharam aati hai!
so...messages...well antk comes up with weird ones too

and then there is prerna who sends me messages from the middle of her class to inform me the progress of their lecture, and mostly it is quoting the prfessor but it is funny! "1 aur 1 11 hota hai, hum 11 par chalte hai, agar keval ek par chale toh bahut taklif hotti hai!" this i got in the middle of furious taking down notes mode and for the next 15 mins i was so amused and busy forwarding it as a joke to the rest that i missed out on quite a lot of notes!
there was another one though i forget the exact origins which went something like this ," main vampir hoon, tum mujhe khoon do main tumhe maar dongi...happy independence day...hahahahaa...."
(for those who didnt get the last one go read your history books carefully!), which ilicited replies like 'paapi vampire' and 'tum crackpot ho aur crackpot rahogi' much to the amusement of the creator of that sms!
and there is this class mate of mine who could be sittign anywhere, like in front or behind or even next to me, and messages me!! i tell her she can just pass me notes but she finds that a scary prospect while typing while on the fron row doesnt seem to bother her at all!

and then there is this certain somebody who writes absolutely the cutest and most adorable messages in the wee hours of the morning (read after 3 am to about 6.30 am)...of course, about them, the less said, the better!:D

ok my inbox is alwyz full.. as in i jst keep space for 3 messgs.. its nice u kno 2 go back 2 the stupid moments n hava laugh sometime later... normally the very 1st smses sent by anyone 2 me alwyz prevail unless tht person quits my life.. thn be them as stupid as "ok.. i know its stupid but i've never talked 2 u.. but can i still call u?" or smthng on the lines of "i've worn red shoes!" or "wake me up at 7.30 tomorrow" or "subah subah pakaana in full force! i'll beat the crap out of you!".. hehe its fun 2 read them n relive those moments as u recall the times whn u had irritated someone and u feel happy about it :P
hehe.. ok i do sms a lotttt! tht leaves ppl wid ltd cell balances a prob as 2 whether or not 2 reply 2 them.. only experienced friends know tht even if thy dont reply 2 the messgs.. i wud still be messgin them.. i like 2 wake up ppl in the middle of the night.. well not really.. in the early mornings really.. its damn fun! un4tunately ppl cant wake me up cz i put my cell on silent whn i sleep (unless am expecting someone 2 call of cors).. so yea.. as the disturber quotes: i can disturb u but u cant disturb me.. disturber shall never be disturbed! :P
but the sms chats are really amazing.. they normally are about kickin each others ass over sms and ntn beats them.. jst once or twice hav there been senti chats over smses.. otherwise its alwyz been kick ass shit n its fun

hehehehehehehhehe......i delete every message from my inbox everyday, except the one that rray sent me surreptitiously one day when she was stuck at a meeting that she wanted to get out of. she basically wanted me to call her so she could leave. i didn't see the message and i didn't call, but i doubt if i'd have called even if i'd seen it. the message said "ball".
